Celtics Complete Perfect Home Stand with Dominant Victory Over Lakers
Boston extends their home winning streak to 12 games with a commanding 128-109 victory over Los Angeles in a marquee matchup.

The Boston Celtics capped off a flawless seven-game home stand Sunday night, dismantling the Los Angeles Lakers 128-109 at TD Garden in what many considered a potential NBA Finals preview. The victory extended Boston's home winning streak to an impressive 12 games and solidified their position atop the Eastern Conference standings.

Jayson Tatum led the charge for the Celtics with 34 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists, showcasing the complete skill set that has made him an early MVP candidate this season. Tatum was particularly effective from beyond the arc, connecting on 6 of his 10 three-point attempts and consistently finding open looks against the Lakers' switching defense.

"We've been locked in at home all season," Tatum said after the game. "The energy from our fans gives us that extra boost, and we've really been able to establish our identity here. Tonight was just another example of what we can do when we play our style of basketball."

The Celtics jumped out to an early 15-4 lead and never looked back, using their superior ball movement and three-point shooting to build a comfortable advantage. Boston finished the night shooting an outstanding 48% from three-point range, making 19 of their 40 attempts from deep. The Lakers, meanwhile, struggled to match that pace, shooting just 32% from beyond the arc.

LeBron James paced the Lakers with 28 points and 9 rebounds in the loss, but the 41-year-old superstar appeared to show signs of fatigue in the fourth quarter as the Celtics pulled away. Anthony Davis added 22 points and 11 rebounds, but Los Angeles couldn't establish any consistent rhythm on either end of the floor.

The victory moves Boston to 38-11 on the season and extends their lead in the Eastern Conference to 3.5 games over the Milwaukee Bucks. With this home stand complete, the Celtics now embark on a challenging five-game Western Conference road trip that will test their championship mettle against some of the league's top teams.
