David Pastrnak Scores Four Goals as Bruins Demolish Penguins 7-1
Boston winger records first career four-goal game in dominant victory over Pittsburgh at TD Garden.

David Pastrnak lit up TD Garden with the first four-goal game of his NHL career, leading the Boston Bruins to a resounding 7-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday night in front of a raucous home crowd.

The Czech superstar was unstoppable throughout the contest, scoring twice in each of the first two periods to give Boston a commanding 6-0 lead before the intermission. Pastrnak's four goals came on just six shots, showcasing the lethal accuracy that has made him one of the league's most prolific scorers.

"It was one of those special nights where everything I touched seemed to go in," Pastrnak said after the game. "The guys kept finding me in great spots, and I was seeing the net really well. Four goals in one game is something I'll never forget."

Brad Marchand and Charlie Coyle each contributed a goal and two assists, while Jeremy Swayman was outstanding in net, stopping 28 of 29 shots to earn his 25th victory of the season. The Bruins' power play was perfect on the night, converting all three opportunities with Pastrnak recording two of the man-advantage goals.

For Pittsburgh, Sidney Crosby scored the lone goal in the third period to avoid the shutout, but the Penguins looked completely overwhelmed by Boston's relentless offensive attack. Tristan Jarry was pulled after allowing six goals on 20 shots, with Alex Nedeljkovic finishing the game in relief.

The victory moves Boston to 38-16-6 on the season, maintaining their grip on first place in the Atlantic Division. With Pastrnak leading the NHL in goals and the team firing on all cylinders, the Bruins continue to look like serious Stanley Cup contenders. For Pittsburgh, the loss drops them to 28-26-6 and further jeopardizes their already precarious playoff position in the competitive Metropolitan Division.
