Jarrett Allen

Jarrett Allen was born on April 21, 1998, in Austin, Texas, where he first discovered his passion for basketball. Growing up in a sports-loving family, Allen quickly stood out for his exceptional height and natural athleticism, developing his skills on local courts before making his mark in high school basketball.

Allen attended St. Stephen's Episcopal School in Austin, where he became one of the most dominant high school players in Texas. His combination of size, mobility, and shot-blocking ability caught the attention of college scouts nationwide. After considering multiple offers, he committed to the University of Texas, where he played one season before declaring for the NBA Draft.

Selected 22nd overall by the Brooklyn Nets in the 2017 NBA Draft, Allen quickly established himself as one of the league's most promising young centers.
