Sebastiaan "Bas" Rutten is a Dutch retired mixed martial artist, actor, and television personality who competed primarily during the early days of mixed martial arts. Born on February 24, 1965, in Tilburg, Netherlands, Rutten became one of the most recognizable figures in MMA history and helped popularize the sport worldwide.
