Victor Munoz earns Liverpool late draw against Nottingham Forest
Victor Munoz scored on his first Premier League start at Anfield as Liverpool twice recovered to draw 2-2 with Nottingham Forest. Dan Ndoye and Morgan Gibbs-White put Forest ahead before Alexander Isak and Munoz answered.

Victor Munoz struck a late equaliser as Liverpool twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Nottingham Forest at Anfield on Saturday. The summer signing, making his first league start for the club, scored off the underside of the crossbar to prevent Forest from securing a third successive Premier League victory at Liverpool's ground.

Watch the highlights:

The Guardian reported that Forest created the more persistent first-half threat and took the lead after goalkeeper Matz Sels launched a long clearance toward Igor Jesus. The forward held up the ball and found Morgan Gibbs-White, whose pass left Dan Ndoye free to guide a low finish beyond Alisson and into the far corner.

Liverpool briefly thought they had responded when Florian Wirtz finished on the turn, but a video review ruled Jeremie Frimpong offside during the buildup. Forest then nearly doubled their advantage before halftime. Ola Aina supplied Igor Jesus near the penalty spot, and Alisson turned the striker's first-time effort onto the crossbar.

The home side levelled on the hour through Alexander Isak. Wirtz moved the ball to Cody Gakpo, who escaped two defenders before sending a pass across goal for Isak to convert from close range. It was the striker's first goal of the campaign.

Forest regained the lead after substitute Liam Delap's quickly taken throw released Neco Williams into the penalty area. Williams shot over but was brought down by Alisson, who was booked after protesting the decision. Gibbs-White converted the resulting penalty, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.

Liverpool's substitutions helped produce a second recovery. Wirtz found Munoz with a pass behind Murillo, and the former Osasuna player drove his finish in off the bar on his home debut. The result was the second 2-2 draw of Andoni Iraola's Liverpool tenure, while Forest were denied another notable result at Anfield despite leading twice.
