Tottenham Near £160m Double Deal for Savinho and Omar Marmoush
Tottenham are close to agreements for Manchester City attackers Savinho and Omar Marmoush in separate deals worth a combined £160m. Neither transfer has been completed, according to The Guardian.

Tottenham Hotspur are close to agreeing two major transfers with Manchester City for Savinho and Omar Marmoush, according to The Guardian. The proposed moves are separate and remain unfinished, but their reported combined value is £160 million as Tottenham continue an extensive summer rebuild under Roberto De Zerbi.

Watch the highlights:

The Guardian reports that Tottenham are nearing an £85 million agreement for Savinho, while a deal worth about £75 million for Marmoush is also being worked on. The report does not state that either transfer has been completed, so both players remain Manchester City players while negotiations continue.

Savinho, 22, entered the City Football Group in the summer of 2022 when he joined Troyes for €40 million, a fee reported at the time as £30.8 million. The Brazilian winger subsequently spent loan spells with PSV and Girona before joining Manchester City two years ago. He did not establish himself as a regular first-choice player under former manager Pep Guardiola.

Marmoush joined City in January 2025 for around £59 million. The Egypt forward also struggled to secure a regular starting role, with Erling Haaland providing competition for the central attacking position. Tottenham’s pursuit would give him a potential route to more prominent involvement in north London.

If Tottenham complete both deals at the reported prices, their summer investment in De Zerbi’s squad would rise to £387 million. That total includes the previously reported arrivals of Sandro Tonali for £100 million, Mateus Fernandes for £85 million and Jan Paul van Hecke for £52 million.

For City, an £85 million Savinho sale would produce a substantial gain compared with his original acquisition price within the group. For Tottenham, the two negotiations represent a possible £160 million addition to their attacking options. The immediate point, however, is that talks are advanced rather than concluded, with final agreements still required before either player can be presented as a Tottenham signing.
