Rams overturn 10-point deficit to beat Eagles with late Williams double
Kyren Williams scored two late rushing touchdowns as the Los Angeles Rams beat Philadelphia 24-20. The Eagles also lost Saquon Barkley to an early hamstring injury.

The Los Angeles Rams recovered from a 10-point deficit to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 24-20 on Sunday, with Kyren Williams scoring two rushing touchdowns in the final four minutes. BBC Sport reported that the road victory prevented the Rams, who entered the game at 1-2, from falling to a third defeat.

Watch the highlights:

Philadelphia had led 20-10 at half-time after two touchdowns from Darius Cooper. According to the Guardian's account, the Eagles still held that advantage with 7:31 remaining when they faced fourth-and-goal at the Rams' two-yard line. Jalen Hurts' pass to Cooper fell incomplete, leaving Los Angeles to take possession deep in its own territory.

The Rams then travelled 98 yards in 10 plays, with four Philadelphia penalties contributing to the drive, before Williams scored from one yard out. After the Eagles failed to gain a first down on their next possession, Los Angeles put together another 10-play drive, this time covering 79 yards and ending with Williams' decisive touchdown.

Philadelphia could not recover on its final drive, which included two sacks of Hurts and two incomplete passes. The Guardian reported that the Eagles finished without converting any of their 12 third-down attempts. Their 172 yards of total offense represented their lowest output in 12 years, while 68 net passing yards was their lowest total in 23 years.

The defeat also brought another injury concern for Philadelphia. BBC Sport reported that running back Saquon Barkley left early with a hamstring injury. Receiver DeVonta Smith had already been ruled out with a hamstring problem, while tight end Dallas Goedert was sidelined by a knee injury. The report did not establish whether Barkley would be available for the Eagles' next game.

For Los Angeles, the returning Puka Nacua contributed 125 receiving yards and a touchdown, according to BBC Sport. The Rams next host Buffalo, whose unbeaten start ended in a 29-26 loss to New England. Philadelphia's next assignment is against Jacksonville at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the Jaguars coming off a 22-17 victory over Cincinnati.
