Shaun Murphy recovered from 3-0 down to draw level at 4-4 against Wu Yize after the first session of their World Championship final at the Crucible Theatre. The match was briefly interrupted when a spectator was ejected for jumping over the barrier onto the arena floor. Wu Yize had appeared in control early on, building a commanding 3-0 advantage before Murphy mounted his comeback. The pair will return to complete the best-of-35 frames final on Sunday. Wu Yize is seeking his first World Championship title, while Murphy previously won the tournament in 2005. The second session was scheduled to continue later on Sunday.
