Mohamed Salah疑似 final match at Anfield? Liverpool Star Applauds Fans After Being Carried Off With Injury Against Palace
Mohamed Salah appeared to bid farewell to Anfield as he was carried off with a serious-looking injury during Liverpool's victory over Crystal Palace, sparking concerns about his future.

Mohamed Salah appeared to be waving goodbye to Anfield after suffering a concerning injury during Liverpool's 3-2 victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday. The Egyptian superstar was visibly emotional as he applauded the Kop end after being carried off the pitch with what appeared to be a serious hamstring problem sustained in the 70th minute.

Watch the highlights:

The match itself was a rollercoaster affair, with Liverpool coming from behind twice before substitute Darwin Nunez secured victory in stoppage time. The win moved Liverpool into fourth place in the Premier League, but the post-match atmosphere was dominated by concerns over Salah's fitness and potential farewell.

Manager Arne Slot admitted after the match that the club would know more about the severity of the injury within 48 hours but expressed cautious optimism. "Mo felt something in his hamstring. We will assess him tomorrow, but he seemed quite upset which perhaps suggests it could be significant," Slot said. "Losing Mo for any period would be a massive blow to our top-four hopes."

Salah himself posted on social media after the match with a cryptic message that read "We will see" alongside a praying emoji, fuelling speculation about whether he could have played his final game for the club. The 32-year-old is out of contract at the end of next season and has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League.

The Egyptian's absence would be a massive setback for Liverpool's Champions League qualification hopes. Virgil van Dijk also departed with an injury during the match, leaving Slot with mounting fitness concerns as the season enters its crucial final phase.

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard urged the club to resolve Salah's future immediately: "He is irreplaceable. The fact he is out of contract soon and this injury happening now - Liverpool must do everything to keep him. The fans deserve clarity on what happens next."
