Miller Wins WBA Title Eliminator with Wilder Lined Up as Next Opponent
Deontay Wilder could be next for Zhaki Miller after the British boxer secures a commanding victory in a WBA heavyweight title eliminator, setting up a blockbuster showdown.

Zhaki Miller secured the biggest win of his professional career on Saturday, defeating Richardson Ntlamelle via unanimous decision in a WBA heavyweight title eliminator at the O2 Arena in London. The 28-year-old British boxer controlled the fight from the opening bell, dropping his opponent in the third round before cruising to a dominant 98-91, 97-92, 97-92 victory across ten rounds. Miller improve to 22-0 with his 19th knockout victory, though this marks his first trip to the judges' scorecards in over two years. 'I felt sharp from the first punch,' Miller said. 'Ntlamelle is a durable opponent but I knew I had to be calculated. Wilder has been calling me out for months, and now we can make that happen.' The victory immediately sets up a potential blockbuster showdown against former WBC champion Deontay Wilder, who has publicly demanded the fight after watching Miller's clinical performance from ringside. Wilder, 38, returned to the ring with a second-round knockout victory in March and remains determined to capture a third heavyweight world title. Miller's promoter confirmed preliminary discussions have already begun with Wilder's camp, with a summer bout targeted for either June or July. The fight would likely be staged in Las Vegas, where Wilder has built a devoted following during his epic trilogy with Tyson Fury. 'Zhaki answered every question today,' said Miller's trainer. 'Ntlamelle was supposed to test him, and he passed with flying colors. Wilder is a different animal, but we welcome the challenge.' Miller ranks #3 in the WBA heavyweight standings and would become the mandatory challenger for champion Artur Beterbiev with a victory over Wilder. The Canadian champion currently holds the WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO titles following his recent unification victory over Daniel Dubois.
