Manchester United Agree Terms to Sign Sweden Winger Monica Jusu Bah
Manchester United have agreed terms to sign Sweden winger Monica Jusu Bah from BK Häcken, BBC Sport reports. The 23-year-old is expected to complete the move before the Women's Super League transfer deadline.

Manchester United have agreed terms to sign Sweden winger Monica Jusu Bah from BK Häcken, according to BBC Sport. The 23-year-old is expected to complete the transfer before next Thursday's Women's Super League deadline, although neither club has announced the move and the reported fee has not been disclosed.

Jusu Bah remains under contract with Häcken through 2028 after signing an extension in September 2025. That means United will pay the Swedish club a fee, BBC Sport reported, but its value is currently unknown. The agreement therefore represents a significant step toward the transfer without yet amounting to formal confirmation from either club.

The winger has spent her senior career in Sweden. She emerged at Umeå before joining Häcken in 2023, establishing herself with one of the country's leading women's teams. Häcken's official player profile lists her as a Sweden international and an attacker, while the club's 2025 contract announcement confirmed that her extended deal runs through the 2028 season.

Her time with Häcken has also brought major European success. Jusu Bah was part of the side that won the inaugural Women's Europa Cup in May. The achievement adds tournament experience to United's prospective signing as the English club continues reshaping its squad ahead of the new domestic campaign.

Jusu Bah has made 11 appearances for Sweden, according to BBC Sport. She also featured in all six of the national team's Women's World Cup qualifying matches played this year, giving her an established role at international level alongside her club responsibilities in the Damallsvenskan.

United have already added defender Andrea Medina from Atlético Madrid and goalkeeper Janina Leitzig from Leicester City during the current window. BBC Sport reports that the club hopes to bring in at least one more player before the deadline, so the anticipated completion of Jusu Bah's move may not conclude its late transfer activity.
