Watch the highlights:
Sri Lanka chose to field at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, but Pakistan built their innings around substantial contributions from Sadaqat and captain Sahibzada Farhan. Farhan struck 73 from 44 balls, including four fours and five sixes. Fakhar Zaman supplied 22 from 17 deliveries before becoming the first wicket to fall, caught by Kamindu Mendis off Maheesh Theekshana with the total at 55.
Sadaqat hit six fours and seven sixes in his 51-ball innings, falling four runs short of a century on the final delivery of Pakistan's innings. He was caught by Dasun Shanaka off Eshan Malinga. Farhan had earlier been dismissed by Shanaka with Pakistan on 143, while Hasan Nawaz finished unbeaten on 19 from nine balls, adding a four and a six.
Theekshana, Malinga and Shanaka each took one wicket, but Sri Lanka's attack could not keep Pakistan below 200. Theekshana conceded 55 runs from his four overs, Malinga 41 from four and Shanaka 30 from three. Nuwan Thushara completed four wicketless overs for 32 runs, while Binura Fernando's four overs cost 42 without a wicket.
Sri Lanka lost Lahiru Udara to Salman Mirza at the end of the opening over, then slipped further behind as Randhawa removed Sineth Jayawardena, Kusal Mendis and Sahan Arachchige. Mendis and Arachchige fell on successive deliveries in the eighth over, leaving the visitors 49-4. Saim Ayub subsequently dismissed Shanaka, and Shadab Khan removed Kamindu Mendis as Sri Lanka reached 74-6.
Chamidu Wickramasinghe made 29 from 24 balls before becoming Mirza's second wicket, while Theekshana finished unbeaten on 32 from 26 deliveries, Sri Lanka's highest score. Their contributions helped the visitors bat through the innings but left them well short of the target. Mirza finished with 2-28, and Ayub and Shadab each took 1-19 from three overs to support Randhawa's three-wicket performance.
