Lucia Scott returns as Scotland name 32-player squad for Australia Tests
Lucia Scott has returned to Scotland's squad for the two remaining matches of their WXV Global Series campaign in Australia. BBC Sport reported that the back is available again after injury kept her out of the home games against Canada, New Zealand and Australia, all of which ended in defeat for Scotland in Edinburgh.

Interim head coach Dave Butcher has also included uncapped Nicole Flynn and Imogen Spence in the travelling group. Rachel Philipps is available after missing the previous meeting with Australia because of concussion protocols. However, the squad announcement brings no return for experienced forwards Alex Stewart and Emma Wassell, who remain unavailable through injury, according to BBC Sport.
The matches will complete Scotland's involvement in this year's series after September's three home fixtures. They face Australia at Accor Stadium in Sydney on October 17, then meet the same opponents at Gio Stadium in Canberra on October 23. Scott's return therefore comes for the overseas leg after she missed the entire home programme.
Scottish Rugby's announcement confirms a touring party of 32, split between 18 forwards and 14 backs. It identifies Spence as a tighthead prop and Flynn as a centre, with the Glasgow Warriors pair the only uncapped players selected. Ceitidh Ainsworth and Katie Buchanan also retain places after making their international debuts during the past month; both now have three caps.
Rachel Malcolm is named captain and travels with 67 Scotland appearances. The forward group includes Lana Skeldon, listed on 90 caps, and Rachel McLachlan, who has 60. Sarah Bonar, Leah Bartlett and Evie Gallagher are also selected, alongside younger internationals including Holland Bogan and Becky Boyd, both listed with seven caps in the union's squad announcement.
Among the backs, Helen Nelson brings 83 caps and Chloe Rollie 89, while Rhona Lloyd is listed on 69. Scott returns with 12 international appearances. The selected back division also includes Meryl Smith, Shona Campbell and Leia Brebner-Holden, giving Butcher an experienced contingent alongside the recent debutants and the uncapped Flynn.
