Lindsey Vonn says she remains "too emotional" to make decisions about her future following a serious crash at the Olympics. The American skiing champion, considered one of the greatest alpine racers in history, faces at least 18 months of recuperation. Speaking about her recovery, Vonn described being in what she called "survival mode." The extent of her injuries has required extensive rehabilitation, and she has not yet been able to assess what her career might look like going forward. Vonn has won multiple Olympic medals throughout her distinguished career. Her immediate focus appears to be on recovery rather than planning a return to competition.
