Lawrence completed 19 of 29 passes for 182 yards, finding Josh Cameron, Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington for touchdowns. AP reported that Meyers finished with seven catches for 64 yards against his former team, while Bhayshul Tuten rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown. Jacksonville scored through both its passing and running games as New England failed to reach the end zone.

The Jaguars' official game report detailed how two second-quarter scoring drives established a 14-3 halftime advantage. Cameron caught a 12-yard touchdown pass to finish a 10-play, 62-yard possession after DaVon Hamilton recovered a Drake Maye fumble. Following a Patriots field goal, Meyers added a 10-yard touchdown reception at the end of a nine-play, 65-yard drive.

New England then lost an opportunity to cut the deficit before the break. Travis Hunter intercepted Maye in the end zone with 1:02 left in the second quarter, recording the first interception of his NFL career. The Jaguars' report credited the defense with three takeaways overall, including another interception by Jarrian Jones that helped turn the second half into a decisive stretch for Jacksonville.

Washington's 17-yard touchdown reception completed a 15-play drive lasting eight minutes and 42 seconds late in the third quarter. Jones returned his interception 32 yards on the next play from scrimmage, setting up Chris Rodriguez's five-yard touchdown run. Those two scores came 18 seconds apart and extended Jacksonville's lead to 28-3, according to the team report.

AP reported that Maye lost one fumble and threw two interceptions before leaving the game in the fourth quarter. Through three games, he has one touchdown pass and six interceptions. New England also missed a field goal and committed a taunting penalty that disrupted another scoring opportunity, adding to its difficulties on an afternoon dominated by Jacksonville.
