Jobe Bellingham earns first England call-up alongside brother Jude
Jobe Bellingham joins brother Jude in England’s senior squad for the first time. Fulham midfielder Josh King also earns his first call-up.

Jobe Bellingham has received his first senior England call-up, joining older brother Jude in Thomas Tuchel's squad. BBC Sport reported that the Borussia Dortmund midfielder had earned his selection through his club performances and work with England's under-21 side, rather than his family connection.

Watch the highlights:

The 21-year-old captains England Under-21s, and Tuchel said coach Lee Carsley had been recommending him for senior recognition for some time. The England manager highlighted Bellingham's strong start to the season in Germany, where he has become a regular starter and an influential player for Dortmund.

Bellingham developed at Birmingham City before moving to Sunderland, helping the club secure promotion to the Premier League. He then joined Dortmund at 19. Jude also progressed through Birmingham and Dortmund before moving to Real Madrid, although Tuchel described Jobe as a more defensive midfield player than his brother.

Selection does not guarantee that the brothers will play together. If they do, they would follow Gary and Phil Neville, who last shared an England appearance 19 years ago, according to the BBC. Tuchel said the brothers' close relationship could help Jobe settle into the senior camp.

Fulham's Josh King has also received his first call-up. In its separate squad announcement report, BBC Sport said the 19-year-old had contributed two goals and one assist in the Premier League this season. Tuchel said King's ability to play in several positions would give England additional flexibility.

Chelsea forward Cole Palmer was omitted, with Tuchel explaining that he wanted to retain players who had impressed in the previous camp. Kobbie Mainoo also missed out, while Ben White and Djed Spence returned for the first time since the summer. Declan Rice and Ezri Konsa were selected after withdrawing from the previous squad.

England host Croatia at Wembley on November 12 before facing Spain in Madrid on November 15. They are second behind Spain in Nations League group A3, with three wins and one defeat. One further point would secure a place in March's two-legged quarter-finals, the BBC reported.
