Idah seals Swansea comeback against Norwich as Birmingham win derby
Adam Idah scored the winner as Championship leaders Swansea beat Norwich 2-1. Birmingham edged West Brom through an August Priske penalty, while Charlton drew with Bristol City.

Championship leaders Swansea recovered from a goal down to beat Norwich 2-1 at home, with Adam Idah heading the decisive goal in the 59th minute. According to The Guardian's Championship roundup, Yeo equalised shortly after half-time before Idah completed the turnaround, having been denied three times in the opening half.

Watch the highlights:

Idah's first opportunity came in the 22nd minute after Joseph Opoku won possession around halfway and carried the ball towards the Norwich penalty area. A heavy touch allowed goalkeeper Vladan Kovacevic to stop the striker. Norwich then threatened at the other end, with Stephen Welsh heading a cross over his own bar to prevent a chance and concede a corner.

Although Swansea cleared that corner, Norwich regained possession through Andre Brooks and Oscar Schwartau, who dispossessed Welsh. Schwartau supplied Jacob Wright for the opening goal in the 28th minute. Kovacevic subsequently made two more saves from Idah, ensuring the visitors remained ahead at the interval despite the forward's repeated opportunities.

Swansea drew level four minutes into the second half. Passing down the left released Josh Tymon, whose delivery went beyond Idah at the near post and reached Yeo to finish at the far post. It was Yeo's third goal in three games. Melker Widell then provided the cross that Idah headed in for the winner.

Norwich still had opportunities to rescue a point late on. Lawrence Vigouroux kept out a shot from Sam Field, while Jovon Makama headed over from five yards. Swansea held on to the advantage established by their two second-half goals, leaving Norwich without a reward for those closing chances.

Elsewhere, Birmingham won 1-0 away to West Brom after August Priske converted a 41st-minute penalty. Nat Phillips conceded the spot-kick for an aerial challenge on Priske, who beat Max O'Leary with a finish high to the goalkeeper's left. Priske's second Championship goal of the season left both clubs on 14 points.

At The Valley, Charlton's winless league sequence reached six matches after a 1-1 draw with Bristol City. Karlan Grant opened the scoring in the eighth minute with his second goal of the campaign, but Scott Twine equalised before half-time. Bristol City goalkeeper Sam Tickle made two important second-half saves to help preserve the draw.
