Guimaraes winner lifts Arsenal past Leeds as Hincapie sparks injury concern
Arsenal recovered to beat Leeds United 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium. Piero Hincapie was later carried off during the post-match warm-down, BBC Sport reported.

Bruno Guimaraes came off the bench to score the decisive goal as Arsenal recovered from a second-half deficit to beat Leeds United 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. Arseblog's match report detailed the turnaround, with Riccardo Calafiori equalising before the Brazilian put the home side ahead.

Watch the highlights:

James Justin had given Leeds the lead after meeting a low cross from Gabriel Gudmundsson. Arsenal's response began with Noni Madueke's delivery to Ben White, whose header across goal allowed Calafiori to finish from close range. Arteta immediately introduced Guimaraes, Jurrien Timber and Viktor Gyokeres in a triple substitution.

Declan Rice then provided the backheel that set up Guimaraes to score from the edge of the penalty area. Arsenal created further openings but could not extend their advantage. James Trafford saved from Bukayo Saka in the closing seconds, leaving the visitors one goal behind at the final whistle.

BBC Sport reported that the result gave Arsenal five wins from their opening six league matches and brought them level on points with leaders Manchester City. It followed a 3-0 defeat at Brighton in their previous league outing. Arsenal had now conceded the opening goal in three of their past four league games, despite collecting another victory here.

The BBC also reported a concern after the match: Piero Hincapie was carried off during the warm-down. The Ecuador defender had appeared as a late substitute before undertaking additional running after full-time. The report raised the possibility of an injury but did not establish its nature or severity, leaving his condition uncertain beyond the scenes following the game.

For Guimaraes, this was another scoring contribution from the bench after his opening goal in Arsenal's 2-0 win at Sunderland in September. According to the BBC, both of his league goals this season have come from outside the penalty area. Arteta said the midfielder's performance against Leeds represented an improvement on Brighton and stressed the standards required of him in every match.
