Fallon Sherrock named in 24-player field for £501,000 Luke Littler challenge
Fallon Sherrock is among 24 contestants selected for Netflix's Beat Luke Littler special. The players will challenge the reigning world champion over a single leg of 501, with £501,000 at stake.

Fallon Sherrock has been selected among 24 contestants for Beat Luke Littler, a Netflix special offering players the chance to defeat the reigning world darts champion and contend for a £501,000 prize. BBC Sport reported that the women's world number three will join the field for the live event at Manchester Central Convention Complex on 30 October.

The format gives each contestant a single leg of 501 against Littler. Players who defeat him will be in contention for the cash prize, according to the BBC's report. The announcement places Sherrock, already an established figure in major darts events, among a group described as amateurs taking on the two-time reigning world champion.

Sherrock made history at the PDC World Championship in 2019, when her victory over Ted Evetts made her the first woman to win a match at the tournament. Earlier this year, she also brought Beau Greaves' run of 114 consecutive PDC Women's Series victories to an end.

Teenagers Mitchell Lawrie and Jayden Walker have also been named among the contestants. Scotland's Lawrie, 15, became the first teenager to reach a WDF World Championship final last year and is a two-time world youth champion. Walker won the England International Open earlier this month, becoming the youngest player to claim a senior WDF title and breaking a record previously held by Littler.

Selection followed auditions held in London and Manchester during September. Entrants first had to attempt to finish a leg of 501 in no more than 24 darts. Those who succeeded moved on to an interview with the programme's producers before a final assessment by a judging panel.

That panel included 16-time world darts champion Phil Taylor, Matchroom founder Barry Hearn and professional player and television pundit Laura Turner. Littler, now 19, rose to prominence by reaching the PDC World Championship final at 16 in 2024. He then became the youngest world champion by winning the 2025 title at 17 and successfully defended it a year later.
