Colts Host NAIA Star Kyle Dixon on Pre-Draft Visit
The Indianapolis Colts are taking a look at Culver-Stockton wide receiver Kyle Dixon, an unheralded prospect with impressive athletic measurables ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Indianapolis Colts are casting a wider net in their receiver search, hosting Culver-Stockton standout Kyle Dixon for an official pre-draft visit this week.

Dixon is far from a household name, coming from the NAIA level, but his physical tools have drawn real interest from NFL evaluator—s interest that goes well beyond the typical scouting trip. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound pass-catcher posted dominant numbers over his final two collegiate seasons, hauling in 143 targets across 22 games while eclipsing the 1,100-yard mark in each campaign and coming within striking distance of 1,300 yards in 2025.

What sets Dixon apart is his blend of size and speed. He clocked between a 4.45 and 4.5-second 40-yard dash at his pro day, and his explosiveness shows up on the stat sheet: he averaged 16.7 yards per reception over those two seasons and found the end zone 24 times total. His 40.5-inch vertical leap and strong broad jump numbers suggest a player who can win contested catches at the next level.

The Colts’ receiving room has its foundation in place with their top two targets, but the WR3 spot remains wide open heading into the draft. The current depth chart behind their starters features competition between a handful of players, none of whom have separated themselves. Adding someone with Dixon’s physical profile could raise the ceiling of that group and bring legitimate speed to the backend of the roster.

He does not appear on consensus big boards, which could make him a priority undrafted free agent target if he goes unselected in the draft. That designation often masks talented players who simply lacked the platform of a major program. Teams like the Colts have built reputations for finding such players and developing them into contributors.

For Dixon, this visit represents a chance to prove he belongs in the conversation. With measurables that translate and a track record of production at every level he’s played, the tools are there. It now comes down to what he can show in a camp setting.
