Closing 67 Lifts Scott Jamieson to Nexo Championship Victory
Scott Jamieson won the Nexo Championship by two strokes after a five-under final-round 67 in Aberdeenshire. The victory was the Scot's second DP World Tour title and his first in almost 14 years.

Scott Jamieson ended an almost 14-year wait for his second DP World Tour title by winning the Nexo Championship in Scotland on Sunday. The DP World Tour reported that the 42-year-old Scot closed with a five-under-par 67 at Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeenshire, finishing on 11 under and two shots clear of England's Matthew Jordan.

Watch the highlights:

Jamieson began the final round two shots behind overnight leader Shaun Norris. He made six birdies against one bogey, with four of those birdies coming in a five-hole stretch around the turn, according to Sky Sports. The closing surge carried him clear of a crowded leaderboard and produced a 72-hole total of 277.

Back-to-back birdies at the seventh and eighth moved Jamieson into contention before the picture changed further at the ninth, where Jordan made a double bogey after trouble in rough beside a dune. Jamieson then added birdies at the 10th and 11th, giving himself the advantage for the closing stretch.

Jordan finished with a final-round 70 and a nine-under total to take second place. Andy Sullivan shot 68 to finish third at seven under. Quim Vidal, Marcus Kinhult and Keita Nakajima shared fourth on six under, five shots behind the champion.

Norris's challenge faded after he received a two-stroke penalty during the front nine for improving his stance. Sky Sports reported that the South African had kicked a replaced divot from under his feet while preparing to play an approach at the fifth. He signed for a four-over 76 and finished tied for seventh at five under.

The result gave Jamieson his first DP World Tour victory since the 2012 Nelson Mandela Championship in South Africa. It also made him the second consecutive Scottish winner of the Nexo Championship, following Grant Forrest's success at the same venue in 2025. Jamieson's final-round recovery, rather than any single collapse behind him, was decisive: he overturned his starting deficit and completed the week two strokes ahead.
