Chiefs, 49ers and Vikings stand alone at 4-0 after NFL week four
Kansas City edged Las Vegas 30-27 as San Francisco and Minnesota also moved to 4-0. Buffalo lost its unbeaten record in a 29-26 defeat by New England.

Kansas City, San Francisco and Minnesota are the NFL's only remaining unbeaten teams after Sunday's week-four games, with all three improving to 4-0. According to BBC Sport's Ben Collins, five teams entered the week with perfect records, but defeats for the Las Vegas Raiders and Buffalo Bills reduced that group to three.

Watch the highlights:

The Chiefs beat the Raiders 30-27 in Las Vegas after a final quarter that brought three changes of lead. Kansas City trailed 13-10 entering the fourth before running back Kenneth Walker scored two touchdowns just 19 seconds apart. A forced fumble on the ensuing kick-off return gave the Chiefs possession between those scores. Walker finished with 177 rushing yards on 22 carries, while Tyquan Thornton recorded 111 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Las Vegas remained in contention after a Brock Bowers touchdown, and the outcome was not settled until the last play. Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins was tackled while releasing a pass that was intercepted, ending the comeback attempt. The loss halted a 3-0 start for a Las Vegas team that had won only three games during the previous season.

San Francisco secured a 24-14 home victory over Denver in a game that was level at 3-3 until late in the third quarter. Christian McCaffrey scored a fourth-quarter touchdown before Denver responded through Jaylen Waddle. George Kittle then helped settle the contest with a touchdown catch and run. BBC Sport reported that 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has thrown 11 touchdown passes, with one interception and no sacks taken through four games.

Minnesota took a different route to its fourth win, beating Miami 15-10 with all its points coming from five Will Reichard field goals. The result kept the Vikings alongside the Chiefs and 49ers at the top of the unbeaten list, without Minnesota scoring a touchdown against the Dolphins.

Buffalo's perfect start ended in a 29-26 home defeat by New England. Drake Maye passed for 269 yards and three touchdowns, with Efton Chism's one-handed touchdown catch putting the Patriots ahead after a late Buffalo score. New England then intercepted Josh Allen to close out the victory, leaving the Bills and Raiders outside the NFL's shrinking unbeaten group.
