Chelsea Accept Tottenham Offers for Mudryk and Adarabioyo

BBC Sport reported that Chelsea have accepted offers from Tottenham Hotspur for winger Mykhailo Mudryk and defender Tosin Adarabioyo, while also agreeing to a bid from Como for goalkeeper Robert Sanchez. None of the three moves is complete: each player must still agree personal terms before leaving Stamford Bridge.

Tottenham are seeking to sign Mudryk, 25, and reunite the Ukraine international with manager Roberto de Zerbi. Mudryk worked with De Zerbi at Shakhtar Donetsk before joining Chelsea in January 2023 for an initial £61 million. The proposed transfer would give the winger a fresh start after a long absence from competitive football.

Mudryk has not played a competitive match since November 2024. BBC Sport said he served a suspension following an adverse finding for the banned substance meldonium, but has been eligible to play again since July. Tottenham's offer has been accepted, although the report did not say that personal terms had been finalized.

Adarabioyo, 28, is also expected to join Tottenham on a permanent transfer. BBC Sport reported that Spurs see the Chelsea defender as a replacement for Kevin Danso, who is set to move to Sunderland on an initial loan. As with Mudryk, Adarabioyo's departure remains subject to completion of the player-side agreement.

Sanchez, also 28, is lined up for a season-long loan to Como. Chelsea made the goalkeeper available for a loan or permanent move after two errors in their opening Premier League match at Fulham contributed to the Blues conceding twice. Chelsea subsequently signed Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa for £7.5 million. Como had already bought defender Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea for £31 million earlier in the transfer window.

The three expected exits come while another major Chelsea decision remains unresolved. Midfielder Enzo Fernandez has attracted interest from Manchester City, but BBC Sport reported that no formal offer had been submitted. Any Fernandez departure would depend on Chelsea adding to their squad and receiving a substantial fee, after the club previously valued him at £120 million. For now, the accepted bids for Mudryk, Adarabioyo and Sanchez are the most advanced moves, but all remain conditional rather than completed transfers.
