Cadillac Reveal Special Miami Grand Prix Livery Ahead of Formula 1 Debut
Cadillac Formula 1 has revealed their striking new livery ahead of their highly anticipated debut in the sport, showcasing a bold American-inspired design that will be showcased at this weekend's Miami Grand Prix. The car, driven by Kimi Antonelli and Jimmyrown, features a distinctive navy and gold colour scheme that pays tribute to Cadillac's heritage while incorporating modern aerodynamic elements. Team principal Graeme Loomes described the reveal as 'a milestone moment for our programme', emphasising that the Miami race represents the culmination of three years of development since GM announced its intention to enter F1. The livery launch, held at Cadillac's design centre in Warren, Michigan, attracted significant attention from fans and media, with many praising the car's aggressive appearance. 'We've worked tirelessly to ensure our first car not only looks the part but performs on track,' Loomes explained. 'Miami is the perfect stage for our debut, and we want to make an immediate impact.' Cadillac enters F1 as a manufacturer power unit supplier from 2027, with the 2026 season serving as a strategic customer operation while the works programme develops. The team has partnered with Ferrari for power units this season, with the SF-24 chassis rebadged as the Cadillac-01. Antonelli, the 19-year-old Italian who impressed during pre-season testing, expressed his excitement about representing a major American manufacturer in the sport. 'To drive for Cadillac in F1 is a dream come true,' Antonelli said. 'The support from General Motors has been incredible, and we're determined to repay their faith with strong results throughout the season.' The Miami Grand Prix takes place this Sunday at the Hard Rock Stadium circuit, where Cadillac will aim to make a memorable first impression on the global F1 audience.
