Buccaneers dominate on Mayfield return as Bengals overturn 13-point deficit
Tampa Bay rushed for 258 yards in a 43-13 victory over Carolina as Baker Mayfield returned. Cincinnati scored 35 unanswered points against Baltimore, while the Giants and Browns secured late wins.

Tampa Bay marked Baker Mayfield's return with a 43-13 victory over Carolina on Sunday, while Cincinnati recovered from a 13-point halftime deficit to beat Baltimore 35-13. The Guardian's NFL roundup reported that the Buccaneers leaned on their running game and forced four turnovers, with the Bengals producing all their points after the interval in another second-half reversal for the Ravens.

Watch the highlights:

Mayfield had missed three games with a dislocated right thumb and wore a protective glove on his throwing hand. He attempted only 11 passes, finishing with 64 passing yards as Tampa Bay gained 258 yards on the ground. Bucky Irving contributed 106 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Mayfield's record against Carolina improved to 7-1, including six wins in seven meetings since he joined the Buccaneers.

In Cincinnati, Joe Burrow threw four touchdown passes in the second half to overturn Baltimore's advantage. The Ravens, playing without Lamar Jackson, had controlled the opening half but settled for two short field goals on their way to a 13-0 lead. They ultimately suffered a second consecutive divisional defeat, surrendering a double-digit second-half advantage for the second week running.

The New York Giants needed overtime to beat Houston 27-21, with Devin Singletary scoring the decisive touchdown on a 30-yard run. Cam Skattebo rushed for 124 yards on 17 carries, including a fourth-quarter touchdown and a 42-yard gain that helped set up the winner. New York's defense had first forced Houston to punt without gaining a first down on the opening possession of overtime.

JJ McCarthy completed 20 of 28 passes for 252 yards in his first start of the season after Giants coach John Harbaugh benched Jameis Winston. The victory moved New York to 4-2-1, while Houston fell to 2-5. Skattebo's contribution followed a game in which he had not received a carry.

Cleveland also won late, beating Tennessee 27-24 on Andre Szmyt's 32-yard field goal as time expired. Deshaun Watson's 36-yard completion to Harold Fannin Jr helped set up the kick. Watson threw for 308 yards and rushed for a touchdown, while Quinshon Judkins added 96 rushing yards and two scores as the Browns earned their fifth win in six games.
