Evanilson and Adli score as Bournemouth beat Leeds 2-0
Evanilson opened the scoring and Amine Adli added a stoppage-time second as Bournemouth defeated Leeds at the Vitality Stadium.

Bournemouth beat Leeds United 2-0 on Saturday to extend their winning run to six matches across all competitions, without conceding during that sequence. According to Sky Sports' match report, Evanilson opened the scoring after a James Trafford error before Amine Adli secured the result in stoppage time.

Watch the highlights:

Leeds had threatened first, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin putting the ball in the net in the 11th minute on his 50th appearance for the club. His effort was disallowed following a VAR check for handball. The visitors had been the stronger side before Bournemouth took the lead, Sky Sports reported.

Trafford's attempted pass out from the back gave Bournemouth the opening that Evanilson converted. Leeds subsequently struggled to create a response, finishing with one shot on target from 10 attempts. Sky Sports recorded their expected-goals total at 0.61, with the defeat extending their winless Premier League run to five matches.

The second goal came after Eli Junior Kroupi created the chance for Adli, with a nutmeg forming part of the build-up, according to Sky Sports. Adli's finish removed the prospect of a late Leeds equaliser. The visitors have now scored only twice in their past five league games.

For Marco Rose's Bournemouth, the result builds on a turnaround that began after they failed to win any of their opening six league fixtures. Sports Mole's pre-match reporting documented five consecutive victories by an aggregate score of 14-0 before this game. That sequence included 3-0 wins against AC Milan in the Europa League, Manchester United at Old Trafford and Aston Villa in the League Cup.

The result also broke the pattern of last season's meetings, both of which finished 2-2. Sports Mole noted that Sean Longstaff's 97th-minute equaliser had earned Leeds a draw on their previous visit to Bournemouth in April. This time the late goal belonged to the hosts, whose scorers were listed in the match record as Evanilson in the 31st minute and Adli in the fourth minute of added time.
