Amanda Serrano Claims 50th Win and Retains Featherweight Titles
Amanda Serrano retained her WBA and WBO featherweight titles with a majority-decision victory over Lucrecia Manzur, earning the 50th win of her career. The bout drew 3.4 million total views as TikTok's first live-streamed world title fight.

Amanda Serrano secured the 50th victory of her professional career by defeating Argentina's Lucrecia Manzur on a majority decision in Temecula, California. The Puerto Rican champion retained her WBA and WBO featherweight titles after completing 12 two-minute rounds in the first world championship fight streamed live on TikTok.

BBC Sport reported that the judges scored Friday's contest 114-114, 116-112 and 116-112, with the latter two cards favoring Serrano. Manzur found success with repeated right hands during the early rounds, but the report said she tired as Serrano took control from the ninth round and closed the fight more strongly.

The result moved Serrano's career win total to 50, although she did not secure the stoppage needed to claim the women's knockout record outright. The 37-year-old remains on 32 knockouts, level with Christy Martin, after Manzur took her to the final bell. The broadcast attracted 3.4 million total views on TikTok, according to BBC Sport.

Serrano acknowledged after the bout that the 27-year-old Manzur had presented a demanding challenge. She said she had trained hard because she understood the opportunity available to her opponent. In a later social-media post, Serrano described the fight as difficult and said she would speak with her team before deciding what comes next.

Before the bout, Serrano had planned a farewell fight in Puerto Rico later in 2026 or early in 2027, with the aim of moving past Martin's knockout mark. BBC Sport reported that her opponent for that proposed final appearance remains unclear. Her post-fight comments preserved some uncertainty about the plan rather than confirming a date or matchup.

The event also produced a new champion on the undercard. Denmark's Melissa Mortensen won the vacant WBA super-bantamweight title by defeating Mexico's Mayelli Flores on points, earning a world championship for the first time. Serrano, meanwhile, left California with both featherweight belts, a milestone victory and the knockout record still within reach if she chooses to fight again.
