Boston Celtics Extend Winning Streak to Seven Games with Dominant Victory Over Miami Heat
The Celtics showcased their championship credentials with a commanding 118-95 win over Miami, led by Jayson Tatum's 32 points.

The Boston Celtics continued their impressive run through the 2026 NBA season with a dominant 118-95 victory over the Miami Heat at TD Garden on Sunday night, extending their winning streak to seven games and solidifying their position atop the Eastern Conference standings.

Jayson Tatum led the charge for Boston with a game-high 32 points, shooting an efficient 12-of-19 from the field and connecting on 5-of-8 three-point attempts. The All-Star forward has been on a tear during this winning streak, averaging 29.4 points per game while shooting 52% from beyond the arc over the past seven contests.

"We're playing with great chemistry right now," Tatum said after the game. "Everyone knows their role, and we're executing on both ends of the floor. This is the kind of basketball we need to be playing heading into the playoffs."

Jaylen Brown contributed 24 points and 8 rebounds, while veteran center Al Horford added a solid 16 points and 7 rebounds in 28 minutes of action. The Celtics shot a blistering 48.9% from three-point range as a team, connecting on 22 of 45 attempts from deep.

Miami, playing without injured star Jimmy Butler who missed his third consecutive game with a knee injury, struggled to keep pace with Boston's offensive firepower. Tyler Herro led the Heat with 23 points, but shot just 8-of-20 from the field as the Celtics defense forced Miami into difficult shots throughout the contest.

The victory moves Boston to 41-12 on the season, maintaining their 3.5-game lead over the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference. With the All-Star break approaching, the Celtics have positioned themselves as the clear favorites to secure home-court advantage throughout the playoffs for the second consecutive year.
