About Jonathan David
Jonathan David is a Canadian forward recognized for his pace, technical skills, and sharp goal-scoring abilities. Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Haitian parents, he moved to Ottawa at a young age, where he began his soccer journey. David rose through the youth ranks at Ottawa Gloucester and later joined the famous MLS academy of the Vancouver Whitecaps before moving to Europe. He signed his first professional contract with Gent in Belgium, where he quickly made a name for himself by scoring 37 goals in 83 appearances.
