Akira Ioane

Akira Ioane was born on June 24, 1995, in Auckland, New Zealand, into a family deeply connected to rugby. His father, Eddie Ioane, was a former Samoa international, while his younger brother Rieko has also become an All Blacks star. Growing up in this rugby environment, Akira was naturally drawn to the sport and showed exceptional athletic ability from a young age.

Ioanes development through New Zealands rugby system was rapid, showcasing the physical attributes and skills that would make him one of the countrys most exciting back-row forwards.
