Adam Boqvist

Adam Boqvist hails from Sweden, where he developed his passion for hockey at a young age. Born on August 15, 1999, in Falun, he exhibited talent early in his youth career, playing for the local teams before making a mark in the Swedish junior leagues. He was drafted 8th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2018 NHL Draft, which marked the beginning of his professional journey in the NHL. Adam is known for his offensive capabilities as a defenseman, characterized by his strong skating skills and powerful shot. In his rookie season, he split time between the NHL and the AHL, gradually solidifying his role in the Blackhawks' lineup. After a couple of seasons, he was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets, where he has continued to develop his game.
