Trey Lance is an American football quarterback who currently plays for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League. Born on May 9, 2000, in Marshall, Minnesota, Lance developed his passion for football at an early age and quickly emerged as one of the most promising young quarterbacks in the country.
Lance played high school football at Marshall High School, where he established himself as a dual-threat quarterback capable of making plays both through the air and on the ground. His exceptional athleticism and football IQ caught the attention of college scouts nationwide, ultimately leading him to North Dakota State University.
At North Dakota State, Lance continued to develop his skills under the guidance of the Bison coaching staff. In his redshirt freshman season in 2019, he led the team to an undefeated 16-0 record and a Football Championship Subdivision national title. Lance threw for 2,786 yards and 28 touchdowns while adding 1,100 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns, showcasing his versatility as a quarterback.
