Manny Ramirez

Manuel Aristides Ramirez, known as Manny Ramirez, was born on May 30, 1972, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Moving to New York City as a child, Ramirez quickly established himself as a baseball prodigy at George Washington High School in Manhattan.

Drafted 13th overall by the Cleveland Indians in 1991, Ramirez made his MLB debut in 1993 at age 20.
